In 2011, I began my study of music at the University of East Anglia where I took a particular interest in music performance, conducting and partaking in chamber ensembles. My studies centred around the violin, researching its role in society both historically and in the present day.

Having graduated in 2014, I had the opportunity to travel and develop my performing experiences. Of particular enjoyment was busking on the streets of Sydney, when the weather was not too hot!I have worked with groups performing at a variety of events, from local primary school concerts to orchestra and chamber performances at larger venues such as the O2 and Wembley arenas.

I currently live in Edinburgh where  I am studying an MMus in Musicology at the University of Edinburgh.

I am a positive tutor who will both encourage and correct pupils willing to learn. I believe you can learn a lot though playing the violin, whether you are playing for leisure or pursuit of musical dreams.

I teach from beginner up to intermediate and am happy to prepare my student for ABRSM exams. Due to COVID restrictions lessons are currently taking place online.

I am available for lessons both during the day and some evening so please contact me to see what we can arrange. For a private lesson I charge £25 per hour or £15 for a half hour lesson.
